This movie was actually a lot better then I had anticipated it to be. It starts at Father Graham Hess's (Mel Gibson) farm with him discovering crop circles. I thought most of the movie was going to focus on crop circles, but there is more to the movie than that. Soon his family and the rest of the world are facing an alien invasion. It sort of reminded me of the movie Armageddon, because there was the possibility of mass death on the Earth. I didn't really like all the flashbacks though, but they were necessary to show how the preacher abandoned his faith. My favorite scene was the part where they were at the dinner table and the father yells at his family to eat and enjoy the food. The only thing I didn't like about this movie was that there wasn't enough alien slaughtering. It would have been better if it ended with a massacre. Rate:4/5 Buy it Signs - (2002)
